"O site World Jump Day está coordenando este projeto. A idéia, bem simples: se 600.000.000 de pessoas no ocidente pularem ao mesmo tempo no dia 20/07/2006, mais precisamente às 08:39:13 (horário de Brasília), a Terra sairá de seu eixo, passando a fazer um "percurso" maior em torno do sol... As vantagens são que, por exemplo, o problema do efeito estufa estaria resolvido, os dias seriam mais longos, sem falar do clima mais homogêneo!! Já estão cadastrados 145 milhões de "jumpers"... tá esperando o quê?"
